View from the hotel on the first night
Dear old friends, meeting again after 30 years.
Welcomed with food, the only way that Filipinos know how. A very Filipino spread in front of us: corn, steamed shrimp, egg & pork loaf, taro root, 2 rice desserts, sweet potato root, fresh fruit, steamed crab, tomato & onion pickled in vinegar. Oh yeah, and as if that wasn't enough, there were pork chops and chicken on the grill.
We started the night off with music and karaoke, of course. Very Filipino. This is my brother's, "of-course-this-is-what-we're-doing" face.
