We did it. We finished the Santa Maria Bucket List. I was in town for some meetings, and Lauren surprised us all by driving down from vacation to meet us! I was literally speechless to see her at the door. What better way could we think to spend our time here than to finish out our ever eluding bucket list? We spent the day feeding the ducks at Waller Park and buying Santa Maria grown strawberries from a local vendor. Check and check!
The ducks were so cute and easy to lure to us. Doesn't it look like they're saying
"please give me some of your delicious bread" with their eyes and smiles? I think so...
Finishing out our bucket list in grand style, making our farewell to the city so bittersweet, but perfect.
