Mornings in the Garden

I've never had a particularly great green thumb, but my mom and grandma always have.

I remember growing up with plants inside and outside the house as well as a full garden that we used to cook with- eggplant, green onions, lemons, even pomegranates!

I got to help hedge my mom's yard a little bit and even though it was pretty hard work, the results were definitely rewarding.  I can see why this was so cathartic for those ladies!
