A day in the park with Tammy and Blayden! They were some of my first roommates when I first moved into the house that I'm currently in. I couldn't very well leave Santa Maria without spending one more play date with them. I also gave Blayden my bucket of chalk, sigh, it was a bittersweet exchange to say goodbye to my lil' chalk friends but there's nobody else that I would rather have inherit them!
Blayden was a little hesitant to go down the slides so to show him it wasn't scary, Mama decided to go down first. So, he decided to wait at the bottom of the slide to catch mama if she fell and he did! Good catch!
He then decided to try out the big boy slide for himself...
It was a little faster and scarier than he anticipated.
He got a little bit of a rub burn from the slide, so the little trooper decided to go play with the tunnel phone, a much safer play option. All in all, such a fun day with some of my favorite folks in Santa Maria!
